HAPPY NEW YEAR!



I can't believe we are saying 2019! I have great plans to get back to be more productive and on time this year and I hope you'll come along for the journey.

I had planned to start the blog posts tomorrow but Bob is still home and he is trying to get some medical appointments taken care of before he goes back out. Those trips require near full days with travel/ appointment/ lunch. Ugh. One even has required an overnight to the big city.  That means I'm not getting the creating done ahead of a writing retreat I have the 3-6.  So my plan now is to spend the week following the retreat to get posts scheduled on the blog beginning Monday January 14th.

My one GOAL for 2019 is to drop 10 pounds. That's all I'm asking. I'm stepping in to the new year with a fresh plan.

WEEKLY PLAN - Week 1 - Starting from Scratch

A new year, a new plan, a new way of thinking. Sounds good.

And I'm off to a good start. By making sure I include fruit and/ or vegetable into every meal I am down one pound from last Tuesday. Bringing my current weight to 184.

As you'll see on the side bar, I am dropping to only three days a week here. Since I don't have a lot of comments back I'm going with my Monday - Weekly Plan, Friday - Week in Review and then Wednesday will be a recipe share.

I'm getting a lot of what read like really good recipes off Pinterest. So I'm going to start getting them off my Foodies Board and on a plate.I had multiple ideas but every one called for onion. Wouldn't you know, I used my last onion yesterday and like everyone else, we're under a deep freeze and I'm not planning on venturing out at least until the weekend.

I think I have just enough tortellini in the freezer to do this recipe in half. If not, I guess Wednesday will be a surprise.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

With a new year comes a new beginning. I am so ready for a fresh start. One where just maybe I have more control over my time and life events.

Though I have become a fan of NOT making New Year resolutions, I am about GOALS. So here we go for 2014:

Eat Smarter
Exercise regularly
Keep Active


With those three GOALS in mind, 2014 will turn out as it should.

In the coming week, I'll be revamping my post schedule, possibly reducing the number of days. But the days will be more regular so you'll know what to expect AND actually find the post here.  ::: crossing fingers :::

In the mean time, please share your GOALS for 2014. I really don't like talking to myself ;-)
